Smart solutions are at the core of all that we do at S.A.G.E. Sustainable, Attainable, Green, Energy. Our main goal is storing and reusing excess solar energy that would have otherwise been wasted. The excess energy is stored using what we call a hydro-battery. We collect power via a solar panel in order to charge super-capacitors

The super capacitors power our water pump which pumps water from one water tank into an elevated water tank

The water is then dropped through a pipe with turbine generators, which generates energy for you to use, into the lower water tank.

The process of filling the elevated tank and dropping through the generator tube can now be repeated as needed.

How does water generate electricity?
Water-power is a way of using the energy in moving water to make electricity. It works by sending water through a pipe and into a turbine. The turbine is made up of little blades that spin when the water hits them. The spinning of the blades turns a generator, which is like a motor that creates electricity.
Uses
The power stored in our battery can be used to power your household items and hopefully even your entire house, preserving the generated solar energy for long periods of time in a safe manner. Will be especially beneficial in providing clean energy for people who live in areas that are not suited for solar power as it allows them to generate electricity using water with the minimal sunlight they have.
How does our product work?
Solar power is used to pump water from a low elevation water tank to a high elevation water tank. The water then falls from the top tank to the bottom through a tube, spinning generators and producing useable electricity. Our product simulates the electrical generating abilities of a water dam; using very little sun to bring hydro-power to those in need.

After interviewing many we have come to the conclusion that our product is truly effective and needed by many. Each person that we interviewed had positive feedback and ultimately said that the product was useful. a main idea which was commented on was the cost efficiency of our product. From our surveys, we learned that people are willing to spend large amounts of money at once for our product as they understand that in the long run, our product will be saving a lot of money.
